Verify Your ClaireAI Number
Check your dashboard under Settings → Phone. Make sure this exact number is in your phone system's forwarding settings.
Test the Forward
Call your main office number and let it ring. If ClaireAI answers, forwarding works. If not, check your settings.
Check Forwarding Conditions
Verify forwarding triggers on the right conditions: No Answer (most common), Busy, or All Calls.
Setup by Provider Type
Traditional Landline
Use *72 to activate, *73 to deactivate. Enter your ClaireAI number after the *72 code.
VoIP (RingCentral, 8x8, etc.)
Configure in your admin portal under "Call Handling". Set ClaireAI as after-hours or overflow destination.
Mobile Phones
Use conditional forwarding codes: **61*[ClaireAI#]# for no-answer, **67*[ClaireAI#]# for busy.
Common Issues
"Calls go to voicemail instead of ClaireAI"
Forwarding triggers after voicemail. Set forwarding to activate before voicemail (3-4 rings instead of 6+).
"Forwarding works sometimes"
Restart your router, check for carrier outages, or verify forwarding is set for "all conditions".
