Unlike traditional answering services, ClaireAI uses advanced conversational AI to ask relevant follow-up questions, evaluate case potential, and ensure no lead slips through the cracks—even after hours.
Most firms are up and running within 3-5 business days. The setup process includes:
- Day 1: Onboarding call to discuss your intake process and requirements
- Days 2-3: Our team configures ClaireAI for your practice areas and integrates with your CRM/calendar
- Day 4: Testing phase where you can review sample calls and provide feedback
- Day 5: Go-live with monitoring and support
Enterprise clients with custom requirements may need 1-2 weeks for complete implementation.
No special equipment needed! ClaireAI works with your existing phone system. You simply:
- Forward calls to your dedicated ClaireAI number (we provide this)
- Or set up call routing rules to send after-hours calls to ClaireAI
- Or replace your voicemail with ClaireAI
If you use a VoIP system like RingCentral or Vonage, we can integrate directly for seamless routing.
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial, you'll get:
- Full access to all features in your chosen plan
- Dedicated onboarding support
- Up to 50 calls handled at no cost
- Integration with one CRM or calendar system
If you're not satisfied, simply cancel before the trial ends—no questions asked.
Features & Capabilities
ClaireAI performs real-time conflict checks during the intake call by:
- Collecting names of all parties involved in the case
- Cross-referencing against your client database (via CRM integration)
- Flagging any potential conflicts before booking a consultation

Important: ClaireAI provides preliminary conflict screening as a tool. You remain responsible for final conflict determinations under your jurisdiction's ethics rules.

The system automatically detects the caller's language preference and conducts the entire conversation in that language. All transcripts and intake notes are provided in both English and the caller's language.

Yes! ClaireAI identifies urgent matters based on your custom criteria (statute of limitations deadlines, emergency orders, etc.) and immediately alerts your on-call attorney via:
- Phone call to designated mobile number
- SMS text message

You can set up escalation rules (e.g., call Attorney A first, if no answer within 2 minutes, call Attorney B) to ensure urgent matters are handled promptly.

If you exceed your included calls, overage charges apply:
- Starter: $2.25 per additional call
- Professional: $1.99 per additional call

You'll receive email notifications when you reach 80% and 100% of your monthly call allocation. You can upgrade your plan at any time to avoid overages.
Monthly subscriptions: Cancel anytime with no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Annual subscriptions: You can cancel, but we don't offer refunds for unused months. We recommend monthly billing if you're uncertain about long-term commitment.
Enterprise contracts: Terms vary—typically 12-month commitments with custom cancellation clauses.
No hidden fees! Your subscription includes everything you need. The only additional charges are:
- Overage calls (if you exceed your plan's included volume)
- SMS notifications (optional, $0.01 per message)
- Custom integrations (Enterprise only, quoted separately)
Setup, onboarding, training, and support are always included at no extra cost.
Security & Compliance
Yes. ClaireAI is designed with attorney-client privilege protection in mind:
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Call recordings are stored securely with access controls
- We never share your client data with third parties
- You maintain complete control over data retention and deletion
Important: Attorney-client privilege is established between you and your client, not between ClaireAI and the caller. We're a service provider acting on your behalf. You should review our Terms of Service to understand the full legal relationship.

We never store data outside the United States unless specifically requested and contracted.
Yes! You have complete control over your data:
Export: Download all your data anytime in CSV or JSON format, including call recordings, transcripts, and intake notes.
Delete: Request deletion of specific records or your entire account. We'll permanently delete data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain it.

Technical
We guarantee 99.9% uptime for Professional and Enterprise plans, measured monthly. This means:
- No more than 43 minutes of downtime per month
- Scheduled maintenance windows excluded (announced 48 hours in advance)

Access call recordings through:
- ClaireAI Dashboard: Log in and view all calls with playback controls
- Email Notifications: Each call summary email includes a link to the recording

- API: Download recordings programmatically (Enterprise only)
All recordings include timestamps, transcripts, and intake notes.
ClaireAI is trained to handle legal intake, but if a caller asks something outside its scope (specific legal advice, case status updates, billing questions), it will:
- Politely explain it can only help with scheduling and intake
- Offer to connect the caller with your office during business hours
- Take a detailed message for follow-up
- Optionally escalate to an on-call attorney if configured
You'll receive a notification whenever ClaireAI escalates a call or takes a message.
